Description

‘Coast' is an original painting by British artist Sian Storey of a vibrant lobster.

It's painted on chunky wooden panel at a depth of 5cm, it comes ready to hang with picture wire and sized at 51 x 61cm its rectangular shape and statement size will suit most wall spaces.

Sian used acrylic and spray paint to create this vibrant painting. The blissful colours of teal and turquoise create a lush backdrop for the lobster that is exploring the ethereal seabed. The gold spray paint catches the light with a shimmering effect.

The painting is signed by the artist Sian Storey on the front and reverse, and will be an exciting new addition to your home.

How it was created

‘Coast' was painted in early summer 2025 in Sian Storey’s studio in Hampshire, England, using acrylic and spray paint. 

As the one-and-only owner of this original painting, you’ll be able to appreciate the delicate, detailed brushwork, mists of spray paint and shimmering flashes of gold.

Sian paints in layers, building up layers of paint as she goes. The spray paint is used to diffuse edges and lines, creating a hazy, ethereal finish.

Delivery information

Good news. With Sian Storey, delivery is completely free (please note - if you're ordering from outside of the UK, your order may be subject to local import charges upon delivery which are outside our control)

The painting will be delivered fully tracked via courier, and securely packaged in layers of thick bubble wrap, foam edges and heavy duty cardboard.

The painting will be dispatched within 14 days, however Sian will always aim to send it sooner. Please add a note to your order if you require the painting sooner and she'll try her best.

And this will be reassuring to know - if the painting isn't quite right for your space, Sian will arrange a courier return free of charge, so you’re not out of pocket.
