Description

‘Hushed' is an original painting by artist Sian Storey, showing a family of deer.

It's painted on professional heavyweight canvas, and sized at 60 x 80cm with a depth of 5cm.

Sian used acrylic and spray paint to create this beautiful and serene painting. The warm colours of brown, Indian yellow, Naples yellow and violet create an autumnal backdrop for the family of deer.

Signed on both the front and reverse by Sian Storey, this original painting is a piece to feel proud of owning, bringing artistry, character and a deeply personal touch to your home.

Feel inspired

Sian is inspired by the beauty of nature, and the unconditional love of family.

‘Hushed’ captures that quiet wonder you feel among the trees, when the world softens, your breathing slows and you feel a little more yourself. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the comfort of a countryside walk, this family of deer holds both gentleness and quiet courage, a tender reminder that you can step beyond the familiar without losing your softness.

Warm autumn colours, delicate brushwork and flashes of turquoise surround a family of deer, creating a painting you’ll love coming back to. Painted by Sian Storey, there’s only one. A little peace, a little wonder, and something truly yours.

How it was created

Painted in autumn 2026 in Sian Storey’s Hampshire studio, ‘Hushed’ is a one-of-a-kind original, rich in delicate detail and atmospheric colour. Sian brings acrylic and spray paint together with a skilful touch, weaving intricate brushwork, soft mists of colour and flashes of gold into a painting that is yours alone.

Working layer by layer, Sian builds depth and detail, using veils of spray paint to soften edges and blur lines into a hazy, ethereal finish. It’s a piece to spend time with, discovering the subtle marks and textures that make an original painting so special.
